The SV Players produce a variety of performances ranging from comedy, drama, classics, children's theatre, contemporary pieces and musicals. The drama program has also successfully participated in state festivals including the SC Theatre Association and Palmetto Dramatics Association. The SV Players produce several productions a year including comedies, dramas, musicals, children's shows, assemblies, and one-acts.
Shows such as "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown", "Adaptation", "Present Tense", Vanities","The Good Doctor", "Love, Sanity and Other Impossibilities", "University", "Guys and Dolls", "The Diviners", "Bye Bye Birdie", "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest"," A Midsummer Night's Dream" are among the many productions from past seasons.
Opportunities are provided for students who plan to go into the theatre arts profession, as well as those who enjoy drama as a hobby. Spring Valley has tradition for excellence in drama and encourages all interested students to join!
