Allison McNeely is proud to direct Spring Valley High School's outstanding drama program. McNeely recently achieved certification for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. She was also named SV Teacher of the Year for 2002-03.
McNeely has served on professional organizations such as SCTA as an Executive Board member, Secondary Divisional Chair and as Secretary of the Palmetto Dramatics Association. She received a B.S. degree in Theatre at Appalachian State University and an MA in Acting/Directing at the University of South Carolina. She directs in the community as Resident Director of Town Theatre and with the Chapin Community Theatre directing both for the main season and the children's theatre productions. McNeely's performance credits include the SC Shakespeare Company, Workshop Theatre, Camden Community Theatre, Southeastern Theatrical Productions, Town Theatre, Charlotte Rep, and other regional theatres in North Carolina and New Jersey. McNeely is a Spring Valley High graduate and considers it a privilege to be a part of Spring Valley's long standing tradition of excellence.
